Jim is a friend from Miami where he was a worship leader in a dynamic and unique church called Lighthouse Christian Ministries. It was the 80's around the time of the Mariel Boat Lifts when Castro poured thousands of refugees on to the streets of Miami not to mention the thousands of Haitians fleeing their country and the Colombian Cartels wreaking havoc on the city as well. Jim and a group of us had a large house in the heart of Miami on the Miami River where we took in anyone and everyone until the City of Miami shut us down. Jim ministered extensively through out the city with Lighthouse Christian Ministries as a talented musician and minister of the Gospel.
